Our Broadband Connection

It's been an exciting day for us at the IIA.  We made a big announcement this morning on two important initiatives - the call for a National Broadband Strategy and IIA Broadband Ambassadors.  Some of the nation's best and brightest minds have joined us as Broadband Ambassadors, including Tom Rogers, CEO of TIVO; Gary Smith, CEO of Ciena; and Craig Moffett, a leading Wall Street analyst with Sanford Bernstein.  Gary and Craig joined us as panelists in May for the IIA Symposium on the Exaflood in NYC.  They'll be helping us increase awareness as we work to help government leaders better understand the need for universal broadband availability and adoption.  

To kick off today's Initiative, we also launched a new design for our Web site and blog - tell us what you think.
